Ballroomcostumes.com got its beginning in 1996 in Providence, Rhode Island. Vowing to provide high quality latin costumes for college students on a budget, the designers worked with enthused ballroom dancers to create looks that flatter individual personalities and dance styles. Soon, the good news spread throughout the New England dance circuit. At a semi-final of a collegiate competition, there were 12 ballroomcostumes.com creations out of 14 dresses on the dancefloor!

In 2000, the designers launched their website, ballroomcostumes.com. Since then, we have provided our personalized customer service and affordable designs to professional and amateur dancers in 4 continents. Our "Sold" section features a selection of dresses that have already graced dance floors and award podiums, whereas the "Catalogue" shows dresses that are waiting for new owners. The "Discount" section displays attractive options for limited budgets.
